It was already two months ago, but we are proud to share that Tiago Carvalho Oliveira, PhD student of Sandro Altamura (PI of our FerrOs Project 6), was selected to give a talk at the BioIron 2023, Session: „Iron in global health and infection“ https://aapevents.eventsair.com/bioiron2023/program. His presentation “Cell-autonomous osteoclast iron deficiency causes osteopenia” was awarded with the “Best Oral Presentation” prize. Well done, Tiago!
